SAALT is working in partnership with DC area Asian American organizations on a voter registration campaign. We are specifically working in Montgomery County, MD, and are looking for volunteers to join us at voter registration drives.

You can participate in two ways:

• Identify sites in Montgomery County for voter registration drives (specifically, places of worship and community centers)
• Register individuals to Vote

Send an email to saalt@saalt.org with the subject line, "DC area voter reg campaign" to let us know how you can participate.

Note: To volunteer to register people to vote, you must attend a training session. The next training will occur on Thursday, August 10th in Rockville, MD. See below for more details:

We'll be sending out information to those who email us about their interest with the dates/places where voter registration will be occurring.

We have already secured dates in August to conduct tabling/voter registration at the India House of Worship in Silver Spring, MD. This will occur on August 20th and 27th .
